TEXAS TROPHY HUNTING & GOLF WITH A LOUISIANA TWIST

PEAK SEASON: OCTOBER THRU DECEMBER     AMENITIES: DRIVEN PHEASANT SHOOT, WOMEN’S ONLY SHOOT, CORPORATE RETREATS

THE HUNT

Highland Hills Ranch is comprised of 3,000 acres of rolling hills, rim rock canyons, creek-fed bottomland, grasslands, planted fields, and open range. You won’t find a more perfect place for hunting upland birds anywhere. Our ranch is managed exclusively to provide ideal habitat for our extensive bird populations. Crops are planted and left un-harvested, native grasses cultivated and carefully managed, and water sources developed and maintained for one purpose only – to provide the finest upland bird habitat in North America. For our hunting guests, this means you will enjoy an experience like none other.

Imagine hunting for Pheasant, Chukar, Valley Quail and Huns all in the same day. Now that’s a Grand Slam! Those dedicated enough to bag all four species receive special recognition and bragging rights around the campfire at the end of the day.

DINING

All our meals are chef-prepared and served by our professional and friendly staff. You will be pampered during you stay and won’t lose weight on this hunting trip!

The evenings at Highland Hills Ranch are reserved for special moments. Enjoy an after-dinner drink, gaze at the stars from the wrap-around deck or swap stories by the fire pit.

AFTER THE HUNT

This finely appointed facility is 10,000 square feet of custom-built quality. The hand-peeled logs, old world charm, oversized rock fireplaces and use of natural materials throughout provide a relaxing atmosphere for all who enter. Features include six double occupancy bedrooms with private bath, bar, game room with billiard table, exercise equipment, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, phone and fax.

Our guest cabins offer the same comfort and elegance of our lodge, but with the added benefit of privacy. Each double-occupancy cabin has its own fireplace, private bath and even a front porch to sit, relax and watch the sun set at the end of a perfect day.

This ranch is a rare jewel among hunting venues.
