RAISE YOUR SIGHTS

PEAK SEASON: OCTOBER THRU DECEMBER     AMENITIES: QUAIL HUNTING, FINE DINING, CUSTOMIZED HUNTS, 5-STAR LODGING

THE HUNT

Here at Rio Piedra Plantation we are entirely about Bobwhite Quail. We are located in the very heart of the Classic South Georgia Plantation Belt. This is where the Quail have always been; this is where they CONTINUE to be, in gratifying abundance. On thousands of acres that look much the same as they did 100 years ago.

Our birds must be HUNTED and not merely shot.

Some days they are easy to find and some days they are shy and mysterious.
But they’re here. And you’ll know they are here…and you’ll know they are REAL. And that’s what makes it all so serene.

With everything set in an atmosphere of casual elegance that will leave you relaxed, refreshed, and ready for more.

DINING

The dining at Rio Piedra has been described as “relaxed 5-star”. Breakfast and dinner are served at the main lodge with multiple dining areas available to accommodate group preferences and privacy. An al fresco lunch is served daily on the open air deck overlooking the Flint River or Lodge Patio areas.

Guests at Rio Piedra relish the “Total Experience” of incredible dining, first-rate accommodations and classic Plantation Belt Quail hunting.

AFTER THE HUNT

At Rio Piedra Plantation we realize that the difference in a good hunt and an exceptional hunt lies in the details. It lies in the quality of service, the accommodations, and especially in the dining. And we leave nothing to chance.

We go to extraordinary lengths to assure that your stay with us is as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Here you can be equally comfortable in a dinner attire or in khaki and blaze orange, Our two story lodge features a host of amenities that will immerse you in traditional southern hospitality and charm. We also offer exceptionally well appointed guest lodges that can accommodate small groups.

Uniquely located in the very heart of the Classic Plantation Belt.
